Full-Time Receptionist, Cranbrook, BC (Position Filled)

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Receptionist to join our growing team, based in our Cranbrook office.  

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling of appointments.

  • Distribution of mail.

  • Opening and closing client files.

  • Answering and routing of incoming calls.

  • Greeting clients.

  • Dealing with walk-ins.

  • Receipting, dating, sorting and routing incoming correspondence.

  • Addressing and sending outgoing mail.

  • Managing and receipting payments by credit card.

  • Understanding the whereabouts of lawyers and staff.

  • Delivery of documents on rounds and banking as required.

  • Ensuring the proper operation and stocking of copier, coffee and refreshments.

  • Maintaining the appearance of the office generally, watering and care of plants, kitchen is tidy and coffee ready for the next morning.

  • Data entry, dictation, typing of correspondence and precedents and other work as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • You are an energetic and outgoing person who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have a willingness to learn, are a real team player and are ready to help the business in its continued growth.

  • You have an attention to detail and desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.

  • You have a proven knowledge of Microsoft Office.
